St Patrick's Lottery Prizes
The St Patrick’s Lottery offers a range of great prizes if you can match the winning numbers. If all six of your main numbers, plus the Joker Ball, are the same as the winning numbers, you’ll pick up the €15 million jackpot.
You can also receive an impressive payout even if you don’t match all the numbers. Prizes start from €5 for matching three main numbers and increase in value as you get more right. The following table shows all the different ways you can win and the odds for each category.
Tier | Prize | Odds |
---|---|---|
Match 6 + Joker Ball | €15 Million (Jackpot) | 1 in 79,453,500 |
Match 5 + Joker Ball | €10,000 | 1 in 300,960 |
Match 4 + Joker Ball | 100 | 1 in 5,599 |
Match 3 Main Balls | €5 | 1 in 75 |
All of the prizes in the St Patrick’s Lottery are fixed amounts - you’ll receive the advertised figure if you win. If there are multiple winners of the jackpot, though, the €15 million is split between everyone who matches all the numbers.
The jackpot doesn’t roll over if nobody wins. It’s a one-off draw on 17th March and it won’t be offered again until the following year.
All prizes apart from the jackpot will be paid straight into your online account. If you win the top prize, you’ll be contacted and guided through the verification process, but you can already start to plan how you might want to spend your millions. It might be that you dream of holding a party to rival any St Patrick’s Day parade, or that you plan a round-the-world trip, perhaps starting with your favourite places in Ireland.
It’s a sum of money that stacks up favourably against most of Europe’s top lotteries. Irish Lotto, for example, has only offered a jackpot worth more than €15 million once since 2010, while it usually takes five rollovers for UK Lotto to reach such levels. It only costs €1.50 to enter the St Patrick’s Lottery and you have a chance to land a jackpot worth 10,000,000x more.
